Caroline & Brandon’s Wedgewood San Ramon Wedding Photos
Here is a photographer curated collection of photos from the Wedgewood San Ramon wedding of Caroline and Brandon. It was a beautiful day full of family, friends, and love.
Getting Ready Before the Wedgewood San Ramon Wedding
Getting ready for the wedding is always such a special part of every couples wedding day. Caroline and Brandon chose classic wedding styles. Brandon looked sharp in his tux from The Black Tux. Caroline looked so radiant before the ceremony. We loved Caroline’s bridal jewelry!
First Look Before the Wedgewood San Ramon Wedding
Caroline and Brandon’s first look before their Wedgewood San Ramon wedding was incredibly sweet. Caroline and Brandon both got a bit emotional, and who can blame them? Our couple was absolutely glowing smiles and laughs. We love capturing special moments like this!
The Ceremony
Caroline and Brandon’s Wedgewood San Ramon wedding ceremony was beautiful. The weather was perfect, and the vows were sweet and touching. It was an amazing day shared with friends and family.
Couples Portraits
Caroline and Brandon’s couple’s portraits after their Wedgewood San Ramon wedding were so romantic and stunning. This was such a great session, our couple was a dream to work with. We loved how Brandon looked adoringly at Caroline. These golden hour shots could not have been more perfect!
Wedgewood San Ramon Wedding Reception
Caroline and Brandon’s Wedgewood San Ramon wedding reception was SO fun! Our couple had delicious food catered by Wedgewood and later Vatos Tacos. They had a beautiful rippled fondant decorated cake from Old Towne Danville Bakery as well as a s’more station. There was dancing, touching speeches, trivia, and lots of love shared with friends and family. It was the perfect ending to an even more perfect day.

From the couple:
We had already gotten married back in 2019. So, the goal of our wedding day was to have a joyous celebration together with our family and friends. We wanted to incorporate some soft colors and our favorite colors into the wedding. We had chosen slate blue and blush pink.
Wedding Décor:
A majority of our wedding décor was DIY. It is something that I personally enjoy doing and looked forward to working on them every day. We saw these gold manzanita trees and thought it would be a creative idea to have guests hang pink flowers on them with thoughts of bringing back memorable pieces to decorate our home.
We incorporated an acrylic “Let love bloom” sign to incorporate with the guest check-in. It had a slate and navy blue and blush pink watercolor background. This was similar to our “Welcome” sign created for the ceremony site. Additionally for the ceremony site, I handcrafted the hanging aisle chair floral décor. This was created with slate blue ribbon, white sashes, and artificial pink roses.
We created and printed the table assignment signs with each place card hanging for guests to easily follow and take to their respective tables. All our chalkboard signs were handwritten. We did this for our guest check-in instructions, card and gifts table sign, signature cocktails sign, and s’mores table sign. The acrylic Boba signs and table signs were also handwritten, with the table signs having a blush pink background and Boba signs matching their specific drink colors.
Wedding Florals:
The authentic floral pieces were all from Dublin Floral Design, while the artificial floral were DIY. We had corsages for the mothers, boutonnières for the men (the fathers, the groomsmen, and the groom), and bouquets for the bridesmaids and the bride. All personal floral were designed similarly where white and blush pink roses, blue hydrangeas, and loose eucalyptus leaves were used.
For the ceremony site, each of the aisle chairs had hanging artificial floral decorations with slate blue ribbon, white sashes, and pink roses. There was a pillar on each side with large floral pieces which had white and blush pink roses as well as a pop of royal blue roses. These pillars were moved to the reception inside next to the sweetheart table, where the sweetheart table also included a centerpiece of similar floral décor.
Each of the guest tables had white lantern centerpieces with fairy lights inside and white, pink, and blue roses spilling out. The floral of the wedding gave the ceremony and reception sites the additional enhancement to the color, beauty, and feel of the wedding day.
The Wedding Day:
There were so many different elements that it’s hard to choose only one of our favorite moments. Our wedding day went perfectly and we were both incredibly happy the entire day. We both enjoy escape rooms and puzzle-solving/trivia nights with friends. So, we decided to create a short quiz game about us for our family and friends.
We brought in our favorite food elements to the wedding as well, including Boba drinks as refreshments, s’mores for dessert, and a taco and hot dog food truck to end the night for the after wedding festivities.
For our favors, we wanted to give each guest an item we individually enjoy and love. We chose a cat bottle opener from the bride, and a dollar scratcher from the groom. The scratchers brought so much excitement; it was fun to hear cheers all around from those who got lucky and won! The wedding was all about bringing in everything we enjoy to share the excitement with our loved ones!
Style:
For the bride:
When I was browsing around online, I set my eyes on the modern day fairytale look. Specifically an off-the-shoulder ball gown. The lace bodice had a beaded floral design and the A-line shape. This provided a full look with multiple tulle and organza layers. I paired my dress with white lace heels, an opal necklace (my birthstone), pearl earrings and bracelet. I also wore a white gold bracelet which was gifted from my mother-in-law.
For the groom:
I rented my suit from The Black Tux. I wanted something clean and simple. So, I chose a black tuxedo, a black bowtie, and a crown-fold pocket square.
First Look:
The most special moment was the first look of the wedding day. Our wedding had been pushed back a year because of COVID. So, there was a lot of anticipation for the wedding day. Even though we see each other on a daily basis, it was different vibe. It was a special time to see each other on this memorable day.
Our Story:
We had met one another after taking a few of the same classes together in college at UC Davis. Over a few months, we got to know each other and just clicked together well, and the rest is history. After 8 years together, Brandon had surprised me and prepared a scavenger hunt. I traveled to our favorite places around the South Bay Area. It ended at a beautiful garden area on a bridge at Hakone Gardens. There he had prepared a trail of my favorite snacks to follow and popped the question. Afterwards, he prepared another surprise at our home. All our close friends had gathered to celebrate our engagement!
Advice:
Happy wife, happy life 🙂 Honestly speaking, the generic advice that keeps all couples long-lasting – honesty, communication, and compromise. There should never be expectation for someone to change, you love them now for who they are.
