From the couple:  

We met at a wine bar in Palo Alto. One of our rings is a family heirloom and the other was selected to be a complement to the rose gold engagement ring with a conflict free diamond. We looked through many different styles and themes on Pinterest and wanted to go with something simple but elegant.

Sophia wanted a lace dress, and visited multiple shops before finding the one that was perfect. The bridesmaid dresses and groomsmen bowties were coordinated in blush color to accent the white from the dress and shirts. We loved how the colors looked for our wedding photos at Picchetti Winery.

Keeping with the simple and elegant theme, we chose white and pink garden roses and pink hydrangeas, and mixed them with a simple green background. We wanted a half-circle layout for the ceremony to give it a more intimate feel.

We chose readings that resonated with each of us, including one that was quite modern and scientific. Also, we chose a processional song by Badly Drawn Boy that we felt was beautiful and that we had not heard at another wedding.

Naturally, we wanted the reception to feature the most beautiful part of the Picchetti property — the barn. The wedding photos at Picchetti winery were an important part of our day. We loved its rustic feel and the way it sits among the California landscape. We chose a farm table for the wedding party to go with this theme.
