Kyle & Taylor’s Pinole Wedding Photos
Here is a photographer curated collection of photos from Kyle and Taylor’s Pinole Wedding. This stylish couple chose bold colors and the bride had a custom made black leather “Mrs.” jacket with an awesome black veil for the reception. This couples love and personality shined through the entire day.
Getting Ready Before the Ceremony
Kyle and Taylor got ready at the Downer House for their Pinole wedding. It was a beautiful sunny morning. Taylor chose a delicate wedding dress with a lusciously flared bottom, perfect for twirling later. She also chose some seriously rocking red suede heeled boots to wear for the ceremony. Kyles oxblood red suit matched Taylor’s boots-so sweet-and their coffin shaped ring box was to die for.
The Pinole Wedding Ceremony
Kyle and Taylor had a beautiful poolside ceremony. The weather was gorgeous and the vows were touching. The wedding altar was adorned with cheerful sunflowers and other colorful blooms.
Couple’s Portraits
Kyle and Taylor showed off their style and love during their couple’s portrait session. Taylor’s dress was perfect for twirling, and Kyle was grinning fiercely from ear to ear the whole session. This couple’s joy really came through during their couple’s portrait session after their Pinole wedding at the Downer House.
Pinole Wedding Ceremony Reception
Kyle and Taylor’s poolside Pinole wedding reception was a blast. The wedding speeches were touching, the friends were hilarious, and Taylor’s wedding jacket and black veil rocked! This wonderful couple was amazing to work with and we were so happy to be part of their special day and document their Pinole wedding.

From the couple:
Our theme was more or less the things we love. My favorite color combo has always been red & black, and Taylor (like the jacket) has always been a little more edgy. The sunflowers that lined the poolside are Taylor’s favorite, and each wine on the tables was selected my (Kyle’s) lit ass palette!!! We got married at the house my parents got married @ & where my mom grew up.
Florals:
We chose sunflowers as the center for our floral designs. To match each of our bold styles we had the sunflowers surrounded by various other bright florals . The flowers helped to showcase our love for boldness in a laidback setting.
Wedding Décor:
We had my (Kyle) mom’s teapots at the tables. She passed away when I was younger, so that was like having her there. The music playlist was 100% songs we listen to together all the time, and watching Taylor sing/dance to them was amazing. We also had toast glasses made for each of the guests.
Wedding Style:
Kyle: I have always been a fan of loud suits, and am not afraid to show it. Red, being my favorite color, was a no brainer for my wedding day. Set against a black shirt & my gold it gave a very Italian inspired look (part of my heritage being Mexican & Italian).
Taylor: I love having outfits that include very a femme staple, my mermaid fit dress with delicate beaded detail, paired with edgy accessories, my leather jacket and black veil.
Our Story:
We met as roommates when Kyle rented out rooms in his house to go & travel. Only seeing each other in passing for several months; We soon began to connect little by little.
The proposal itself took place at Villa Serena in Los Cabos (a restaurant frequented by Kyle’s family when he was younger) which overlooks the sea of Cortez.
We then took an engagement trip to the Big Island in Hawaii (Kona side) where we took our engagement photos. The wedding itself was the most anticipated part due to COVID pushing us back a whole year. It worked out perfect though, because we got more of what we originally planned…. Which was a smaller/more intimate ceremony with close friends & family.
Highlights & Advice:
If we had to choose one specific moment it would for sure be the first look. We knew it would be the moment where the evening would really take off & it couldn’t have been more perfect, or special.
Just relax & accept things won’t go exactly as planned, but such is life. Focus on each other, share the moments that will soon pass, and above all don’t sweat the small stuff.
Do all you can to make the day a little easier on each other and it will pay off in dividends!
