From the couple: 

I wanted my wedding to have a floral garden theme. I wanted to have bright colors that would stand out. We did not incorporate any additional traditions. We were able to incorporate our favorite stuffed animals which are a part of our relationship. Our wedding had a very lighthearted, fun, but romantic playful feel to it.

Wedding Florals:

I requested a variety of flowers from the florist including lilies, cabbage roses, and hydrangeas. I was not in favor of having a simple bouquet of roses. My centerpieces were made by my mother. She was able to put together bright pink and blue flower themed centerpieces along with some glass rocks to put a little glisten to our color scheme.

Wedding Themes:

I loved our Boba truck as Boba tea is a favorite drink of mine. I really enjoyed the EDM dance party I had at the end. And lastly, I was super happy to incorporate my stuffed animals into our photos. Our photographer was very receptive.

Wedding Style:

For my dress I wanted something sleek and elegant with lace. I did not want a poufy dress. My husband wanted to wear dark navy rather than black and also customized his suit with gold buttons and a bowtie rather than getting a standard colored tuxedo throughout.

Our Story:

We initially met at a student BBQ at school. Then, we bonded over being stranded in a car on the side of the road a week later after a car crash. We learned that we are both very playful and quirky, so he proposed by hiding a letter in the middle of playing an Escape Room game with our friends. I really cared about the first look because I wanted to see my husband’s reaction. I have never put on make-up or been in such a gorgeous dress before.
