Shooting Ellen & Barney’s big day was an absolute pleasure. The Auberge Du Soleil is such a classy venue that just oozes elegance. Ellen & Barney’s Auberge Du Soleil wedding photography came out so beautifully, perfectly reflecting the good vibes of the day.
Wedding Style:
From Ellen’s white lace embroidered, slim skirted dress and Barney’s dapper, sapphire suit the couple couldn’t have photographed better. Ellen’s sheer, laced train that gracefully trailed behind her paired with her soft white and pink bouquet made her appear to be straight out of a story book. She had her hair styled into a beautiful, loose braided bun decorated with a lavish diamond hair clip that tastefully matched her diamond incrusted, powder pink heals. The bridesmaids supported the aesthetic by wearing matching flowy, powder pink dresses.
Venue & Décor:
The floral arrangements, the scenery and the décor had such a classic, romantic feeling, especially on such a warm, sunny day which was perfect for an outdoor wedding. All of the guests were given pastel parasols to help keep shaded from the sun.
At the Auberge Du Soleil’s ceremony site, you can see for miles over a vast mountain horizon as everyone is seating looking out from a wooden balcony. The ceremony was so dreamy, in all aspects, not only visually but sonically too, as a talented harpist serenaded the scene.
Highlights:
After the ceremony the couple celebrated with their ridiculously adorable Shih Tzu, who rocked a dog-tux like a champion! The festivities continued in the Auberge ballroom where the couple enjoyed an excited entrance, first dances and heartfelt speeches leaving the couple misty eyed. There were many toasts, belly laughs and dance moves performed as the DJ killed it with the classics. I was so glad to be the one to captured Ellen & Barney’s gorgeous wedding.
