From the photographer:
I thoroughly enjoyed shooting Alyssa amd Timur’s University Club of SF wedding photos. Everything from the dress and the floral arrangements to the scenery and décor, this wedding was straight out of a fairytale. The architecture of the University Club of SF takes you back in time with it’s Victorian style woodwork and vintage interior design.
Style:
Alyssa wore an incredibly elegant, white dress with French lace embroidery at the top and a full, frothy skirt giving a classic silhouette paired with a diamond crown she wore in a loose up-do. The bridesmaids rocked powder blue dresses with beaded net embroidery.
Timur looked dapper in his classic black tux, matched with a cream tie decorated with an adorable Pikachu tie clip. The couple highlighted their individual styles by having Timur’s wedding band being silver and Alyssa’s rings being gold with a brilliant sapphire.
They had their first look in the University club library which served these beautiful portraits with Victorian, stained wooden bookshelves lined wall to wall with old books as the backdrop. The ceremony was a photographers dream. Alyssa walked down the isle clasping arms with her father smiling sweetly at Timur who couldn’t help but chuckle from his excitement.
Ceremony:
The couple stood in front of a gorgeous, retro fireplace, beside a grandfather clock as they exchanged their vows giving a dreamy, comfy, home-wedding aesthetic. Afterwards we shot more portraits out of the balcony where they basked in their post-ceremonial glow. We even took a quick walk through the city to get a few of those classic, urban San Francisco shots.
The festivities continues as the reception began. Their three-layered cake was such a work of art that it was almost a sin to eat. It was covered in white frosting that was imprinted with a tasteful leafy pattern, topped with golden ribbons and flowers. The day was so full of love and celebration from morning till night.
