Wedding Photos at Bently Reserve
Hannah & Corey’s Classic City Wedding
“Make sure you work with wonderful vendors (such as Apollo Fotografie!!) and have plenty of support when planning the wedding. We couldn’t have done it without the support of our loving families and friends.”
Most couples reserve their date in our calendars 12+ months prior to their wedding day.
From the couple: We met in Undergrad and started dating a year after we met. Corey traveled to Ohio for the first time (go Cavs!) and he proposed. The engagement ring is a Tolkowsky and the groom’s wedding band is Tungsten. Hannah had a severe love for Harry Potter so Corey reluctantly let her have Harry Potter easter eggs throughout the wedding such as signs, table numbers, party favors, etc. We went with traditional white dress for the bride. Hannah really liked Spanish lace dresses, so after trying 8 different dresses and the vote of her bridesmaids, she chose a Pronovia dress. It was perfect for the wedding photos at Bently Reserve. The bridesmaids dresses copied the lace but matched our color of navy blue. Groomsmen wore Joseph Abboud suits, while Corey wore a Topman suit. We worked with Laura Auyeung from Poppy’s Petalworks to decide on our flowers. We didn’t have much preference and so we went with something simple! We decorated the space with columns of vases with fairy lights in them. We worked with our family to use these. We went with a sand ceremony to signify our union in Christ through our marriage. We also had a traditional Chinese tea ceremony. Our processional song was Maestro from The Holiday soundtrack, which is one of our favorite movies! Our recessional song was Don’t Stop ‘Til You Get Enough by Michael Jackson. We decided to stay at the Bently Reserve for the reception because we reserved it for the whole day! We love our wedding photos at Bently Reserve. The table settings and chairs were all supplied by our lovely caterer Ava Yu from Le’s Kitchen Catering. We reused the vases from the aisle during our ceremony as the centerpieces during the reception. Our first dance song was You and I by Jon McLaughlin. We had a photo booth in the lobby of the Bently Reserve. Make sure you work with wonderful vendors (such as Apollo Fotografie!! Alex was the best!) and have plenty of support when planning the wedding. We couldn’t have done it without the support of our loving families and friends.
