Justin & Wally’s Sweet and Classy San Francisco Wedding

The wedding theme we chose was rustic. Our wedding was in October and the rustic look seemed to match the season.

We chose to pick yellow, orange, and purple as our color scheme since it played off the wood at our venue.

We both knew we wanted dark blue form-fitting suits, a yellow bow tie (to match our flowers), and brown shoes. We found the perfect Hugo Boss suits that we had tailored to our liking.

Our ceremony was at Inspiration Point in the Presidio. We chose this location because it offered beautiful panoramic views of the San Francisco Bay and Alcatraz.

The elements that best reflect us as a couple are our sense of humor, outgoing-ness, and up for anything personalities.

We told the florist we wanted yellow, orange, and purple flowers. They put together gorgeous arrangements that carried on to our boutonnieres.

The rings are 1 carat diamond set in white gold.

Our reception was at The Box SF in SOMA.

This was the first and only reception location that we looked at. We fell in love with it once we walked up the stairs to the second floor.

The wood walls and ceiling matched perfectly with our rustic theme. The floor to ceiling, old warehouse windows gave it the final touch.

The favors were bottles of wine (which we hand bottled at a winery in gilroy). We custom made the wine label with the same picture from our save the date. Titled the wine “Kramm-Daniels Cabernet.”

Our first dance was to Neil Young’s “Harvest Moon.”

We had a photo booth that the guests absolutely loved.

Humor, honesty, and openness are essential for all relationships. Also, never go to bed angry, and always end conversations with I love you.

READ THE LETTER FROM THE COUPLE

_____________________________________________

We met in 2006. One of Wally’s friends ask him to come visit him at college in new paltz, NY. When Wally arrived, his friend Andrew whom he went to visit had Justin and a few other friends over. From there, Wally and Justin hit it off and began dating.

5 years into our relationship Wally went to a jeweler with his family. He had two custom rings made, and inside engraved 11-12-2006 (the date we officially started dating). Wally planned a trip to the beach in fire island NY with our closest friends. Early morning everyone went down to the beach, and the friends were told by Wally that he was proposing. Wally dropped to his knee at sunrise and proposed on the beach to Justin, who was shocked.

We both knew we wanted dark blue form-fitting suits, a yellow bow tie (to match our flowers), and brown shoes. We found the perfect Hugo Boss suits that we had tailored to our liking. We didn’t want to wear socks, so we had our pants tailored just above the shoe to show this. We thought it went well with our rustic theme.

We didn’t choose the flowers, but we knew what colors we wanted. We told the florist we wanted yellow, orange, and purple flowers. They put together gorgeous arrangements that carried on to our boutonnieres.

Our ceremony was at Inspiration Point in the Presidio. We chose this location because it offered beautiful panoramic views of the San Franciso Bay and Alcatraz. It also conveniently accommodated our 65 guests. We rented trolleys to escort guests to the ceremony and we thought the presidio and the surrounding area would be a beautiful ride for them.

We chose southern comfort food that was served family style, which was a big hit with everyone. We had a photo booth that the guests absolutely loved. Our first dance was to Neil Young’s “Harvest Moon.” No cake, but had several different kinds of sweets on our dessert table.

Invitations were ordered from night owl paper goods and they were made out of wood, with a print of the Golden Gate Bridge on the front. The invitations were placed in custom made boxes on top of a small pile of hay, and mailed.

The favors were bottles of wine (which we hand bottled at a winery in gilroy). We custom made the wine label with the same picture from our save the date. Titled the wine “Kramm-Daniels Cabernet.”
