Nick & Monica is such an adorable couple and their wedding was nothing short of gorgeous. It was such a pleasure to shoot. Their aesthetic was the epitome of “light and airy”. Between the traditional church setting and their white, elegant décor and floral arrangements, it felt very fairytale-like and dreamy.
Wedding Style:
Monica’s dress was a beautiful, pure white gown with a fitted skirt. The torso of the dress was long sleeved with semi see-through lace embroidery. Her veil trailed onto the ground adding a train onto the ensemble pairing perfectly with her tasteful, white bouquet. Later she changed into a satin, pencil gown with a delicate slope, cut-out back after the ceremony. Nick looked super dapper in his grey tux and matching bow tie. Nick and Monica looked so incredibly spotless that them standing side by sides couldn’t have made for a more perfect portrait. The bridesmaids wore matching Seafoam green dresses and the groomsmen rocked identical grey tuxes.
The Ceremony:
The ceremony took place at Saints Peter & Paul Church in San Francisco which is a spacious, classic church with gorgeous high ceilings painted with angelic murals encrusted with gold and Seafoam green which effortlessly matched the bridesmaid’s gowns!
Couple’s Portraits & Reception:
After the ceremony, we went into a beautiful forest setting to take portraits, just in time for sunset. They were glowing, not only with the excitement of their big day but because of the golden backlight of the setting sun. Once we arrived at the reception venue we took more portraits on a beautiful dock by the boats outside which you can see in Nick & Monica’s Gallery 308 wedding photos.
Gallery 308 was such a beautiful reception venue with a minimalist approach to the sparse, white floral arrangements, tastefully decorated with green leaves. Between the heart-felt speeches, the delicious food and cake and festive dancing, the rest of the night was so much fun to shoot!
