From the couple:
We wanted a small intimate wedding with our closest family and friends. We fell in love with the gazebo and the breathtaking view looking towards the ridge, as it evokes a feeling of simple quiet beauty and happiness, much like how we view our relationship which is reflected in our Fairview Crystal Springs wedding photography. Also, we love the light bits of blush and pink corals sprinkled throughout our ceremony and reception. We didn’t want the flowers to overwhelm the natural beauty of the ceremony location, but to accent it. Our absolute favorite part of the wedding was the ceremony.
The Ceremony:
Words can’t describe the pure joy and gratitude we both felt in our hearts as we stood under perfect sunshine, looking out amongst smiling faces of our loved ones, and made vows to love each other for the rest of our lives. It couldn’t be a more perfect moment. Tina loved having the opportunity to wear three dresses for the day, as each told a different story of the moment and served a different purpose. The ivory one for the sacred moment of matrimony, the sparkly pink one for the grand first dance, and the fun red one as a tribute to her Chinese heritage. She also had a lot of fun matching George’s bow tie to all her dresses, which surprisingly caught many people’s attention as well!
Our Story:
We met many years ago in the same lab; our friendship was established but it wasn’t until 3 years ago did we reconnect and sparks flew right away. Perhaps because Tina was no longer the puny undergrad and George the nerdy grad student. The proposal was an epic surprise weekend trip to Atlanta and the Smokey Mountains, where George surprised Tina with many fun activities and got on one knee half way down a mountain! The most special moment of our wedding day was seeing our closest friends and family seated before us as Tina walked down the aisle to her George. Everything important to both our lives was captured in that moment…how magical!
